The CAP-AIDS Uganda Home of Hope is an HIV/AIDS community resource centre and livelihood training facility in Boroboro, Lira District in northern Uganda.
Established in 2011, the Home of Hope hosts community meetings and trainings related to HIV/AIDS and provides training opportunities in sustainable agricultural livelihoods.
The Home of Hope has an operational piggery, demonstration plots for sustainable agricultural techniques as well as a functioning seed nursery.
The centre also serves as the head office for CAP-AIDS Uganda as well as serving as a meeting space for community organizations including the Obanga Ber Women’s Group.
Currently we are working to upgrade the facilities to serve as a shelter for vulnerable women and children.
